The story of HANTA (derived from the English word „Hunter“) is truly unique and at least as exciting as HANTA’s own products. The German founder and inventor of the HANTA brand is a world traveler and former soldier himself. Growing up in Canada, he served for several years with the Green Berets, the oldest special forces unit of the US Army.
Even during his service, he always optimized his tactical equipment himself. In 2007, after the Operation Medusa, he decided to leave the Green Berets. His dream was to design his own tactical backpacks. Who would know better how the equipment should look than someone who actually used it in the field? And so he actually fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship.
This is how HANTA came to be!
